During our recent Youth Exchange, young people from across Europe gathered to discuss the green transition and the future of our countryside. Through teamwork, brainstorming, and creative workshops, our participants created a series of powerful video messages addressing the most critical environmental challenges in rural areas.

These youth-led videos and animations are now the heart of our official campaign: #RuralYouth4Climate

Our youth tackled 10 key environmental sectors, sending clear messages to their peers and communities:

• Sustainable Agriculture: Chemical-free farming is the only way to protect our soil and future.
• Green Transition: Rural communities are the heart of the European Green Deal.
• Renewable Energy: Powering up the countryside with clean sun, wind, and water energy.
• Local Food Production: Choosing zero-kilometer food means zero transport emissions.
• Biodiversity & Health: Richer ecosystems mean fewer allergies and cleaner air to breathe.
• Eco-Friendly Mobility: Overcoming rural isolation through carpooling and sustainable transport.
• Waste Reduction: Saying no to plastic and yes to composting for clean rural spaces.
• Youth Activism: Raising our voices because rural youth is ready to lead the climate change movement.
• Water Conservation: Protecting our rivers and underground springs as precious treasures.
• Sustainable Tourism: Exploring rural heritage responsibly, leaving nothing but footprints.
